ESR 11 - Biomimetic cell surfaces for the biophysical investigation of membrane-crossing agents

We will be focussing on biophysical characterisations and properties of cell surface mimicries into which we will incorporate membrane proteins to study binding, and interaction with the membrane for different systems. One of the initial systems would be the min proteins that play an important role during the division of a cell. Using cross-correlation spectroscopy and super-resolution microscopy like DNA-PAINT we will study how the protein interacts and transforms the membranes for different systems.
