ESR 14 - Nano-structured vehicles for optimized RNA delivery

Self-amplifying RNA (saRNA) is a diverse platform for the expression of different proteins. The development of nano-structured vehicles for RNA delivery has potential applications in both RNA-based vaccines and biotherapeutics. The main goal of the project is to optimize liposomal-based formulations encapsulated with saRNA to achieve optimal stability, uptake, location, and duration of RNA expression. To improve RNA delivery, we aim to establish cell- and tissue-specificity in vitro and in vivo, respectively.
